Many crane manufactures are familiar with Festoon Ready Pendants because they have purchased “kit” cranes that included them—but, may still be purchasing and wiring pendants individually for the engineered cranes they build that are not purchased as a complete ‘kit”.

A bottle neck can occur in the Electrical Department of a crane manufacturer simply due to that department being the last to handle the crane for wiring and testing prior to shipping. Any delays coming from all other production departments combined—impact the electrical department with additional pressure to finish their tasks quickly in order to reduce the accumulated shipping delay coming from up-stream.
Any time recovered (no matter how small) from the electrical departments work—means the next crane can be completed and shipped sooner because it is time recovered at the end of the line and from a department typically operating at or above capacity (and therefore often working overtime).
